Ponta do Ouro Jenny's Bar

Just off the main road near Ponta Malongane you will come across another popular 'hideout' called Jenny's Bar which sits on a high sand dune offering spectacular panoramic views of Mozambique's beaches stretching as far as the eye can see from Ponta Mamoli to Ponta do Ouro.

Jenny's Bar is also famous for their home-made chilli sauce and scrumptious prawn rissoles whilst local Portuguese beers and ice cold cocktails can be ordered on the menu or at the bar. Jenny's Bar does however pose a fun challenge to anyone who dares to take on the steep incline down hundreds of stairs to the beach, though the reward is well worth it once you're on the beach where you can soak up a bit of sun, wave to your friends in the distance and go for a quick swim before hiking up those daunting stairs back to Jenny's Bar where you can quench your thirst.
